For Meinarztbedarf, an online retailer specializing in medical supplies in the B2B sector, we were able to take over the concept, design and technical implementation of the web shop, as well as the Google marketing.
The company, based in Tyrol, Austria, was struggling with its old Woo Commerce store to keep up with the growth of its online business. In order to move forward in terms of customer acquisition and revenue growth, the company wanted to change its commerce framework and decided to migrate from Woo Commerce to Shopify Plus, the current leader in B2B commerce.

Seamless PIM Integration
The seamless and complete integration of the existing PIM system (Plytix) was a crucial step in the successful implementation of the store. Thanks to the flexible integration options of Shopify Plus, the transfer of the extensive product database (approximately 10,000 products in 4 languages) into the store system went smoothly and without any data loss.
Notably, the Meinarztbedarf team was able to add new attributes and content elements, as well as modify existing product data, without disrupting the technical development process.
Internationalization made easy
Meinarztbedarf's goal to internationalize and expand their online business beyond the DACH region was one of the main reasons for choosing Shopify Plus. The desire to open up new markets such as Italy and France with a dedicated store is easily possible with Shopify Plus' multi-store architecture.
Based on the newly created store, multiple additional stores and storefronts were created for the markets with minimal effort. The functionality and front-end of the store was adopted, while the content and configuration of the newly created store was customized. Parameters such as taxes, currencies, product range, invoices, product texts (images, reviews, texts, etc.) and much more were individually adapted to the requirements of the market.
Replatforming in under 10 weeks
The ambitious timeline to complete the end-to-end relaunch in 10 weeks was achieved through close collaboration and the use of Shopify Plus. From requirements gathering to concept, UI/UX design, front-end and back-end development, interface integration, content and QA, the team was able to replace the old store in record time with no compromises.
