The Lenzing Group has been involved in the production of sustainable wood fibers for over 80 years and, as market leader, cooperates with the largest fashion brands and numerous textile and nonwovens companies around the globe.

This makes Lenzing one of the most important players in the industry, especially in the field of sustainability and the circular economy.

So it's no wonder that the Annual & Sustainability Report is viewed with great interest around the world every year - from the press and politicians to customers, investors, partners, service providers and our own employees. Especially in 2024, when the Annual Report will be combined with the Sustainability Report for the first time.

Our task was to prepare the key components of both reports online in such a way that the company's commitment, innovations and enormous sustainable potential were visible to everyone.

The challenges

The press, politicians, investors, partners, brands & retailers, textile manufacturers, employees - the target groups could not be more different. And yet they all have a fundamental interest in the reports. What's more, the global economy has not had an easy few years due to the coronavirus crisis, the economic review and the rise in commodity prices.

The idea

With production sites spread around the globe, a worldwide network and decades of experience, Lenzing is able to produce sustainable fibers for the global market. An immense impact. Especially when you think of fast fashion and the textile market.

Due to the serious situation with global warming, textile waste and the faltering 1.5 degree efforts of politics and business, we did not see it as appropriate to pat ourselves on the back and make grandiose marketing statements.

Rather, we wanted to see the Annual & Sustainability Report as an initial spark to finally achieve something big together! Together with politicians, well-known fashion brands, retailers, textile factories in Asia and Southern Europe and investors, we want to start changing an entire system and thus create real, sustainable impact.
