BASWA acoustic stands for the highest standards in room acoustics, manufactures acoustic high-end solutions for rooms and areas of all sizes and markets them worldwide.

In order to meet the high demands in terms of innovative strength digitally as well and to reflect the constant further development with a contemporary website, BASWA has commissioned us with the redesign of the corporate website in fall 2019. The focus of the work: to develop a forward-looking and brand-compliant design that simultaneously enables a conversion-oriented user experience for B2B and B2C.

The challenge

BASWA acoustic has already made a name for itself as a pioneer in the field of aesthetic and versatile acoustic solutions. The high quality and uniqueness of their solutions had to be conveyed credibly through an appropriate user interface design. In addition, it was important to explain the complex system logic by means of supporting functions and to support users in their decision-making.

Since BASWA acoustic's solutions are suitable for both B2B and B2C customers, it was also very important to address the heterogeneous user needs and knowledge levels through content, interaction elements, and site structure.

High aesthetic standards

In accordance with the corporate design, a light and at the same time high-quality user interface design was developed, which conveys the characteristics of the BASWA systems and appeals to the visually demanding target group.

System Configurator

The modular BASWA system is incredibly versatile and customizable. Choosing the right system without personal consultation is only possible in rare cases. For this reason, the configurator logic has been used only as a vehicle for user guidance. In this way, individual requirements can be specified, the system logic can be explained, and the appropriate advice can be assigned. The advantage: The subsequent consultation can be directly linked to the requirements and simplifies the internal sales processes.

System Finder

Due to the very different levels of knowledge and experience of the users with the BASWA systems, it was very important to create a quick access for the more experienced users that meets their requirements. This is how the System Finder was created, which presents suitable system combinations on the basis of just a few specifications. The information can be further specified and customized on the results page.

Contact persons

BASWA acoustic has a multi-layered sales structure and optimal contact persons for each region. In order to ensure the correct assignment on the website, to optimize internal processes and to provide the user with the best possible customer experience, an intelligent filtering system has been implemented.

The resulting very sophisticated and high quality user interface design was implemented in the frontend using Twig & VueJS and the content management system WordPress. The customer's wishes for the backend were asked and implemented during the project.
